netGameRadio has some advance hype for a Battlefield 2 announcement that will reveal plans for a new patch that will include "exciting original maps". The announcement is expected tomorrow on what they say coincides with the third anniversary of the launch of the military shooter sequel, though that seems to be off by a couple of days.
